In this episode you will hear an interview with Tammy Lindsey, mom of the Lindsey Family as we talk about music, homeschooling, traveling while homeschooling, and living in an old school house.
Meet Tammy Lindsey
Alan and Tammy Lindsey
Wife of Alan and mother to eleven, Mama (Tammy) is the heart of the family. She likes to say that she’s produced more talent than anyone in the band! (Though in reality we know we have God to thank for that!) She joins in vocals and aspires to learn some instrument someday – when all of the children are grown and stop surpassing her every time she tries! Right now, she tends younger children and manages the scheduling for the band. She loves to write and has added one song to the family’s repertoire so far. She spends most of her time supervising a bustling home, training children, and overseeing homeschooling. She is also the encourager of the family and has mercy to spare!

Andrew Pudewa is the founder, principal speaker, and director of the Institute for Excellence in Writing. His seminars for parents, students, and teachers have helped transform many a reluctant writer and have equipped educators with powerful tools to dramatically improve students’ skills.
Although he is a graduate of the Talent Education Institute in Japan (Suzuki Method) and holds a Certificate of Child Brain Development, his best endorsement is from a young Alaskan boy who called him “the funny man with the wonderful words.” He and his beautiful, heroic wife Robin are parents of seven, grandparents of six, and educators of their two youngest children at home in Oklahoma’s Green Country.

In this show you will here a recording of a talk I gave back in 2012 on five reasons to homeschool and get payed with a pay stub format.
Of course there are many more reasons and you have probably heard these before as well but maybe this will be a new take that you haven’t considered or it may just reconfirm what you already know and believe. In any case, I hope it will bring inspiration and information to read, including posts like the best bike frame adapter bars review. Here are the reasons I discuss:
Relationship/socialization
Instruction
Time flexibility and efficiency
The environment
It is God’s pattern and parents responsibility
